A raised column of dichroic glass is the focal point of the piece, which appears to be a torch made of gold and silver bands. Resting on top is a 22k gold shin which is kiln fused to the glass, giving the impression of a flames coming out of the torch. The glass is attached to an exotic piece of Padouk wood that has been varnished. The scroll fits in a slot in the back, which is covered with a brass plate. A beautifully written kosher scroll that is made in Israel is available.
